In the movie, The Way We Were, Barbra Streisand plays Katie. She had to say goodbye to Hubbell (played by Robert Redford). They seemed to so right together, didn’t they? Turns out, they just weren’t.
Years later, she would see him on the street only to wish him and his new relationship well with the famous line, “Your girl is lovely, Hubbell.”
Ver clempt!
And so it goes. We at BONQO realize that it may be hard to say goodbye to old habits. Eventually, it must be done. Moving on to better, safer, newer things is exactly what Katie did. (Actually, the credits start to roll, so the audience is left to assume that she went on without that Hubbell quite easily). Katie did it and chances are in her new life, she wondered: “Was that guy’s name Hubbell, John, Craig…?”
We are BONQO. We are the newer, safer, easier classifieds and to show you we do care about the way you were… here’s something for our Barbra Streisand fans out there.
